Hi there, welcome to My Page.... still simple yet interesting after all these years!

My Photo page has been here since... well I forget.  At least 1998. 

Times change and so does technology.  When I posted the Prom Page and other original photos here, they were all scanned from prints.  Digital photography scarcely existed.  The panoramas were hand stitched from scans - and boy can't ya tell !!  Back then, you had to think about what shots you wanted - only so many frames of film, and it all cost money to process.

These days you can get a digital camera for less than I used to spend on film and processing on trips like these.  These days I use a canon 30D digital SLR, and you can snap away all day and just keep what looks good and discard the rest!  Does that take away from the art of Photography?  I dont know.  But it means you can keep some mighty nice pictures, and share them around, which is what I want to do with this site.
